Scenario:
1 Empty house.
1 Person wanting to shave.
1 Hot water pipe.
Thirty seconds into shaving: hot water stops. Someone has come in during the intervening thirty seconds and gone in the shower.
Result: cut face from cold water uselessness.
Proof: If that is possible, then the microscopically tiny slice of chance that necessitated the spark of what was to become human life is put into perspective. One is borderline impossible, the other now probable.
There we have it. Cheques in the post, please.
Two questions pop into my head here.
ReplyDeleteFirst, why didn't you just fill the sink with some hot water at the begining and use that?
Second, what's the difference between using hot and cold water? i've used cold before, it was fine...
I prefer running water.
ReplyDeleteHot water loosens the pores of your skin and makes it easier to cut the hairs off/away.
Pfft, way to melt the ice caps.
ReplyDeleteAnd hmm, i did not know that...
Yeah, I think I'm solely responsible for it. What with my not driving, not using public transport, turning my lights off, and using green light bulbs. Damn me!
ReplyDeleteYou learn from my lectures. I always say it.
Can't imagine using green light bulbs... i have white walls too so the room would be all green.
ReplyDelete/bad joke
Ice cap killer.
