How to say nothing with a large vocabulary.

Why is it...

... that in a language of 100,000 words or more, sometimes it's almost impossible to find the right thing to say?

Also: Thomas, your picture thing is really creepy and eerie. What the hell is it? Obviously something everyone should know - I'm assuming you were hoping I'd ask so that I'd end up making an ignorant-ass of myself. God, you always gotta be like that ain't ya... :)

  1. It's a picasso or somethin'. And you're right, public humiliation is my life-blood. Thanks for falling for it! By the way, I'm writing a short paper on a quote from this blog.

  2. I prefer my academic references slightly less vague. Expand please (or at least tell me what).

I knew it was. If only the internet had stocks (the kind with tomatoes and wood).

  3. It's a painting by Picasso or maybe Van Gogh, one of them. When you said tomatoes and wood I imagined some sort of sadistic bloody mary that would make you bleed if you drank it. But yeah, I cherish the days when the Rennasaince Fair comes to town :).

  4. Oh and beyond the artists I don't know anything about the painting.

  5. You explained the wrong thing. I wanted to know which quote you were using. Also; have you never had a splinter Mary? You need to go to university.

  6. Oh goodness. Who is the ignorant-ass now :)? "The spectrum is defined by its borders, it's not just its borders." It's only two pages. Picked it mostly because people in my school have forgotten the words between love and hate. It annoys me.
